Digital Cockpit Market Analyst
How You Will Spend Your Days
- Define and be accountable for assigned product market data and analysis
- Support the creation and maintain product and technology roadmaps within assigned product areas
- Develop deeper understanding of the market scenarios, region specific market trends, competitor analysis and translate analytics, data and user feedback into actionable product plans
- Front end in collecting customer requirements and translate end user needs into product strategies
- Understanding of customer vehicle system architectures and roadmap for the upcoming vehicles
- Develop business case and rationale for new product investments (support for approval)
- Drive innovation themes within the organization and nurture new business viable ideas into proof-of-concepts
- Support sales demonstrations, customer events, product launches and develop marketing and branding media and collateral
Key Year One Deliverables
- Establish product roadmaps for assigned product areas including key technologies and features
- Define product ecosystem and develop key eco-system partnerships based on insightful market and competitive analysis
- Manage product portfolio and increase the revenue/ market share/ profit in the assigned geographical region by a defined and aligned target
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- A critical thinker and problem solver
- Excellent presentation skills and quick learning / adaptive to Customer wants
- Fluent in a variety of technologies/ programs and software
- Develop and understanding of the market and competitors in the segment
- Able to travel frequently to customer locations on demand
- Excellent networking and influencing skills
Minimum education and work experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, engineering degree required
- 2+ years of successful experience in related product development/marketing
- Minimum of 1 years of experience working at automotive OEM or tier-1
- Exposure or experience in digital product management desired
